What is an affiliate program? How does it work?
|
An affiliate program is a revenue sharing program where the affiliate (that's you!) allows searches on our site (that's us!) through our Search Widget installed on your site in exchange for referral commissions. When a visitor to your site searches using the LeapFish Search Widget, you get a commission every time they search!

Does it cost anything to participate?
|
No, As long as you are an active affiliate, all you need to do is install the LeapFish Search Widget's on your site's and collect your referral commissions.

What technical skills do I need to have to participate and make money?
|
Affiliates need to be able to copy and paste HTML code and place it accurately within the code of a web page, web site or blog.

|
Go to the LeapFish Affiliate Center at affiliates.leapfish.com, learn about the various widgets and follow the signup instructions.

How do I get the Widgets?
|
Go to the LeapFish Affiliate Center at affiliates.leapfish.com and log into your Affiliate Center account. Choose a Widget located under the “Links & Widgets” tab. Copy the code provided and paste it in the appropriate area on your site.

Go to the LeapFish Affiliate Center at affiliates.leapfish.com and select the “Email My Password” link. We will send your password information via email.

Do I get paid for the Domain Appraisal Widget?
|
No, there is no payment to affiliates associated with the Domain Name Appraisal Widget.

|
No, there is no payout to affiliates to have the approved LeapFish banners or graphics on your site.

How much do I get paid for the LeapFish Search Widget?
|
The LeapFish Search Widget offers affiliates compensation for each unique and valid search sent to LeapFish.com. The Referral Payment is currently set at 5 cents (0.05 USD) per unique search having originated from your site. You will not be paid for personal searches using the Search Widget.

How Do I Get Paid?
|
You will be paid via PayPal only. You must have a valid and current PayPal account to receive payments. When signing up to become an Affiliate Member you will be asked for your PayPal email information.

Can I Change My PayPal Account Information?
|
Yes, your PayPal email information can be changed by logging into the LeapFish Affiliate Center at affiliates.leapfish.com. Select the “Profile” tab and enter your new PayPal email account in the “PayPal Email” field. Click the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the “Profile” page.

When Do I Get Paid?
|
Once you reach a payout threshold of $25.00 a payment will be sent to your PayPal account indicated when you signed up.

Searches have been initiated on my site through the LeapFish Search Widget – Why haven’t I been paid?
|
1. You have not reached the payout threshold of $25.00 or the payment has not been sent to your PayPal account yet. Payments will be sent within 30 days of the date of attaining the $25.00 payout threshold.
2. Your Paypal account information is not correct. Verify your PayPal email information by logging into the LeapFish Affiliate Center at affiliates.leapfish.com. Select the “Profile” tab and verify your PayPal email account in the “PayPal Email” field. If you change the information on this page be sure to click “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the “Profile” page.

Can I earn cash for using the Search Widget myself?
|
No, only site visitors that search using the Search Widget will be deemed “payable searches”. You will not be paid for personal searches using the Search Widget.

How can I track Widgets on my different sites?
|
Track your Search Widgets by logging into the LeapFish Affiliate Center at affiliates.leapfish.com.
The Dashboard View - This view will show you “Revenue Earned To Date” that displays information related to each Search Widget installed on a Site. This is the default view when you log into your Affiliate Center.
The Reports View - You can also select the “Reports” tab to get more detailed information about your Search Widgets earnings by date range and month.
The Detailed Reports View - A more detailed report is available by clicking “Detailed Report” while in the “Reports” tab. The detailed report will give you information for each individual Search Widget.

How can I Track Multiple Widgets Independently?
|
Track your Search Widgets by logging into the LeapFish Affiliate Center at affiliates.leapfish.com.
Once at the main Dashboard click on the "Reports" tab. Once on the Reports page click the “Detailed Report” text link. As shown below:

The detailed report will give you information for each individual Search Widget by month, day or date range specified for the selected individual widget from the dropdown field.

Can I Put Multiple Widgets on my site?
|
Yes, Multiple Widgets are allowed for your site. To add additional Search Widgets to your site login at the LeapFish Affiliate Center at affiliates.leapfish.com. Once logged into your Affiliate Center select the "Links & Widgets" tab. To add an additional Widget select the “Add New Search Widget“ text link shown below:

On the "Add New Search Widget" Page you will have 2 options;
1. Create a new Search Widget for an existing site by selecting your site from a drop down menu and creating a new widget title. You must create a new widget title for each Search Widget placed on your sites. Even if it is on the same page on a particular site.
2. Create a new Search Widget for a new site by entering the new sites URL and a new Search Widget title.
Once the required information is entered select "Finish" and copy the code provided and paste it in the appropriate area on your site.

The status of my Widget says "Error" what do I do?
|
The status "Error" can arise for a variety of reasons but most often due to the Search Widget being placed on a website it is not registered for.

Is my website eligible for the Affiliate Program?
|
We accept almost all types of websites. We do not accept any sites which:
• Advocate or promote sexually explicit material.
• Advocate or promote violence.
• Advocate or promote discrimination based on race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation, or age.
• Advocate or promote illegal activities.
• Violate intellectual property rights.
We welcome all applications but reserve the right to refuse membership or revoke a membership at any time.
